Digital Summer Layout with Miss Kate Cuttables

Hi Everybody!
I'm so excited to share another Miss Kate Cuttables project with you!   First, I want to make sure you grab the freebie of the day:

Don't forget to head on over to Miss Kate Cuttables to download it for free TODAY ONLY!

And now, onto my project!  There are so many things you can do with the images and files from Miss Kate Cuttables.  There are actually a few different types you get with each file.  If you've never noticed, once you click on the image of the file, the different types are explained nice and clearly under each image:

SVG files (for cutting machines)
JPG files (with white backgrounds)
PNG files (with transparent backgrounds)

The SVG files we all know and love for cutting out on our die cut machines.  The JPG files are such high resolution, they are perfect to print out for the front of a card, pocket style scrapbooking, and home decor.  The PNG files are what I used on my project for today.  Since they have a clear background, they are the perfect embellishment for digital scrapbooking!
Every year for the holidays, I make our entire family calendars.  It's especially appreciated by our extended family that we don't get to see very often.  Here are a couple of the months.  This first page is the one I created for July.  We have so much fun on our summer adventures!

The MKC files used on this page are:
*Crab With Beach Ball

This next page is for the month of June for Father's Day.
The MKC file used on this page are:
*World's Best Dad (Title, arrows, and stars.)

I hope you enjoyed my project!  Digital scrapbooking is so easy to do.  Here is some more info on the scrapbooking program I used.

Miss Kate Cuttables & Peachy Keen Stamps Co-Hop

Hi Everybody!
I am so stinkin' excited for today!  2 of my very favorite things are teaming up together to create some crafty awesomeness!!  The Peachy Keen Designers, and the Miss Kate Cuttables Design Team have come together this week to show how perfect these 2 products go hand in hand.

Before I share my project, don't forget to check out the Miss Kate Cuttables blog and the Peachy Keen Stamps blog for daily inspiration and fun prizes!  Here's what I created for today's hop:

*Jaded Blossom - 1x6 inch Clear Tubes
*Target - bucket, candy

*I love giving Easter treats, so I decided to create this delicious mini bucket of goodies to hand out to a lucky person with a sweet tooth!

*I LOVE this little chickie!  I added some detailing with a white gel pen on the eyes, and some chalk on the cheeks.
*I also inked the egg shell in silver for added dimension.

*Isn't this bunny kid super adorable??!!  The bunny figure is from the PKSC-15 March 2013, but the In the Garden set has a similar face style.

*This lollipop knows how yummy he is!

*I love this cute little Chocolate Bunny :)

*Miss Kate Cuttables has such gorgeous titles!  I did a print and cut on some printable vinyl to add this  title to my little bucket.

I hope you enjoyed my project!  And now, onto some.......

    Daisy Duck Baby Shower

    Hi Everybody!
Happy Wednesday!  The weekend is almost here, yaaay!  To help get you through your week, I wanted to share some pictures from a Daisy Duck Baby Shower order I had done.  The new baby was named Daisy, so Daisy Duck was the perfect choice!

I didn't attend the shower, but the hostess was kind enough to snap some pictures for me.  So here we go!

*All projects were made using the
    Disney and Friends Cricut cartridge.

*First, here's a look at the main set up.  I love all the purple and pink!

*They had the cake made, and then added the Daisy head that I cut.

*The baby was a preemie that had to unfortunately spend some time in the hospital before coming home.  The banner says "Welcome Home".
*I also created some larger Daisy heads for the decorative plates that they hung.
*The largest Daisy is my favorite!  She was cut in 12" x 24" size.

*Another favorite thing from this shower was the little shoe favors!  They turned out so cute (and thankfully were easy to put together!!)

*I added the bows, and the hostess added the little bags of candy inside.

*It's hard to see in this picture, but on the heel there is a little daisy.  It originally was a little heart, but I changed it using my Gypsy.

I was so honored to create this party for such a special little baby!  Even better that the hostess loved it!!  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)

CTMH Cartridge Projects with Guest Designer Elizabeth!!

    Hi Everybody!
I am so excited to have my crafty pal Elizabeth as a Guest Designer today!  She has some gorgeous projects to share, so take it away Elizabeth!!

Hello fellow Cricut lovers!  I'm so excited to be guest posting for my friend Crazy About Cricut today.  My name is Elizabeth Mindemann and I am a passionate paper crafter, wife to a youth pastor, mother to three (soon to be four) of the cutest human tornadoes ever (I may be biased) and Director with Close To My Heart, a stamping and scrapbooking company.

I blog over at Broken Treasures and I have chosen a few different projects using my favorite Cricut cartridges from Close To My Heart to share with you.

Art Philosophy is a great cartridge for shapes that coordinate with the CTMH stamp sets and rolled flowers.

I created these projects using the AP cartridge . . .
The rolled flowers are my favorite from this cartridge.  Here I created a "kissing ball" and a wreath with the different roses from the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

For my son's birthday we did a camping theme and I used my AP cart to make these Smore favor boxes.

The Artiste cartridge is perfect for mini albums, 3D items and cards.

I created these cards especially for this guest post using the Lollydoodle paper pack and Artiste cartridge from Close To My Heart.

This is one of the super cute mini albums I made using this cartridge as well.  The cartridge comes with three coordinating chipboard sheets one of which is a mini album!

Finally my favorite cartridge is the Artbooking cartridge just released this past August.
I love how with the touch of a button a complete layout is created all cut to scale.  There are so many adorable mini ablums, full 12x12 layouts and overlays perfect for scrapbooking and card making.
It is also perfect for home decorating items like this Merry and Bright frame I made this year for Christmas!
So this month you can get one of these three amazing cartridge for FREE with Close To My Heart when you join my creative club/team.

I'm so excited about this amazing deal!  You can get over $425 worth of products for only $99 - like getting a 75%+ off coupon to your favorite craft store plus a guaranteed six months of discounted shopping with Close To My Heart!  Have questions?  I'm happy to answer them just contact me
via facebook or e-mail and we can chat.
    Happy April!
Thanks so much to my friend Jenny for letting me share some of my Cricut projects with all of you!
    Creatively Yours,
